2016 DESIGN TRENDS:
The hottest trend in 2016 is the long-known furniture pieces from the 1950’s through the 1970’s. Mid-Century furniture is making a huge come back this year. Black metals are no longer sidelined in 2016 as the metal for wrought iron outdoor furniture or bed frames. The unflashy material is appearing on appliance finishes, hardware, bathroom fixtures, and even flatware. In addition to black metal; copper will be the statement metal for chandeliers in 2016.
Lastly, The color palette for 2016 is filled with shades of pink, red and orange. Orange dominates the accessory market to include decorative pillows, lamps, candles, wall art and area rugs.
